NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!

Over the past year, Alpha Delta Phi has reimagined the way we recognize individuals and chapters. New and traditional awards are now accompanied by clearly defined criteria as well as open nominations. For the first time, YOU now have the ability to nominate your brothers for their achievements!

The deadline for nominations is June 1, 2022 and all awards will be presented during the Annual Convention in Philadelphia this August.

If you have any questions, please let us know at office@alphadeltaphi.org

ORDER OF THE SWORD & SPEAR

The Order of the Sword and Spear was created in 1982 (the 150th Anniversary of the Fraternity) and is the highest honor the Fraternity can be bestow on an undergraduate. The award honors one well-rounded brother who best exemplifies Samuel Eells’ goal of developing “the entire man - moral, social, and intellectual.” The recipient is nominated by the chapter and is selected solely on the basis of his personal contribution to his Fraternity, his school, and his community.

Each chapter is invited to nominate one person for this high honor. It is strongly recommended that the members of the chapter discuss numerous candidates (junior or senior) and vote on their choice for a nominee, considering fully each man’s service to the chapter, campus, his abilities as a leader, and his qualities as a brother.
